HOW TO PAY E-CHALLAN ONLINE IN INDIA

You can pay an e-challan online through several methods in India. Here’s a step-by-step guide to make it easy for you:

Method 1: Through the Parivahan Website

  1. Visit the Parivahan e-Challan website: Parivahan e-Challan Portal.
  2. Select “Check Challan Status”: On the homepage, enter your challan number, vehicle number, or Driving License (DL) number.
  3. Enter Captcha Code: Fill in the captcha to proceed.
  4. Check Your Challan Details: If there’s an unpaid challan, it will be displayed.
  5. Click on “Pay Now”: Select the unpaid challan and click “Pay Now.”
  6. Choose Payment Method: You can pay via debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.
  7. Complete Payment: After successful payment, you’ll get a receipt which you can download and keep for records.

Method 2: Through State-Specific Traffic Police Websites

Some states have their own traffic police portals for e-challan payments. Check if your state has a specific portal and follow similar steps.

Method 3: Mobile Apps (State or Bank Apps)

Many state traffic police departments and banks also provide mobile apps to pay e-challans. Search for your state’s traffic police app or check bank apps for the “traffic challan” section.

Once paid, it may take some time for the payment to reflect in the system.
